Fault scarps in the Inyo craters area reach a maximum height of about 15 m (note person in cricle for scale). This view is toward the south along a fault scarp on the west side of South Inyo crater. The blocks in the foreground and along the scarp surface were ejected from South Inyo crater during its formation. This fault scarp is one of many that define a graben (down dropped block) 0.6 km wide and 2.5 km long south of the Inyo craters.
