Growth of a pressure ridge immediately above the dike (location D) and development of vertical movement along some of the innermost fissures to form inward facing normal fault scarps (locations E and F). Movement along the faults produces gentle monoclines (note slope at location E) and a graben (down dropped block between faults. At the base of top of some well-developed faults Location (F), the surfaces have been tilted back to a horizontal position. |
