Fish Hatchery Spring CD is similar to Fish Hatchery Spring AB, in that several spring vents discharge subaqueously to a collection pool about 700 ft in length. Discharge is measured and recorded on a datalogger every 15 minutes. Temperature measurements at this site were made at the west end of the pool which is called Fish Hatchery CD Temperture (FHCD-T). Chemical analyses also have been done. Streamflow and chemistry data are available from NWIS, our national data base. We monitor 2 other springs at the Hot Creek Fish Hatchery: Fish Hatchery Spring AB Weir and Fish Hatchery Spring 23. Learn about and compare data for the three monitoring sites here.
