View of a small red cinder from Horseshoe Lake toward the south-southwest. The red basaltic cone was erupted on top of Council Crest, and an accompanying lava flow spilled 200-300 m down the steep slope below the cone. The cone erupted between 126,000 and 64,000 years ago.
