Activity for the period June 6-12, 2005:

The realtime computer system detected and located five small earthquakes in the Long Valley area since the last update at 2:00 PM on the 5th. Four of the events were located to the south of the caldera in the Sierra Nevada; the fifth was located to the north in the Adobe Hills area east of Mono Lake. All of the events had magnitudes of M<2.0.

The realtime computer system detected and located five small earthquakes in the Long Valley area since the last update at 10:00 AM on the 6th. Four of the events were located to the south of the caldera in the Sierra Nevada; the fifth was located in the south moat of the caldera. The largest event was a magnitude M=2.1 located 10 km (6 miles) west of Toms Place.

The realtime computer system detected and located two small earthquakes in the Long Valley area since the last update at 1:00 PM on the 7th. Both events were located to the south of the caldera in the Sierra Nevada and had magnitudes of M<2.0.

The realtime computer system detected and located four small earthquakes in the Long Valley area since the last update at 3:22 PM on the 8th. Three events were located to the south of the caldera in the Sierra Nevada; one event was located in the Adobe Hills area east of Mono Lake. All four earthquakes had magnitudes of M<2.0.

The realtime computer system detected and located eight small earthquakes in the Long Valley area since the last update at 10:11 AM on the 9th. Seven events were located to the south of the caldera in the Sierra Nevada; one event was located in the Adobe Hills area east of Mono Lake. All eight earthquakes had magnitudes of M<2.0.
